Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for but not limited to supporting Kolter Homes’ email marketing campaigns for both Customer acquisition and retention. This position will facilitate email development and deployment across all campaign channels including community, auto follow-up and pre-formatted communications. The Email Marketing Coordinator will also provide regular reports on email performance and share lead opportunities with sales teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and monitor email campaigns deployed via Mailchimp and in-house CRM
- Test emails to ensure design and layouts are optimized across multiple platforms
- Copywrite and proofread messaging to share key company information
- Create graphics for email and social media
- Create landing pages and event RSVP forms
- Compile email lists and targeting audiences
- Manage community-level auto follow-up and pre-formatted email schedules and creative
- Email list hygiene
- Track, analyze and communicate email campaign results
- Maintain latest email best practices and trends
- Email marketing strategy and editorial calendar development at both a community and overall brand level
REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on written communications
- Organized and detail oriented
- Team-player who works well in a collaborative group environment
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes
- Experience with MailChimp, Stripo, Canva, Photoshop, or related tools a plus
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Outlook Calendar, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn and use customer relationship management software including Builders CMS, customer service software including Build Pro, NewStar, Track-it and any other company-based software
- Ability to communicate with customers via email in a clear, professional and helpful manner
- Basic computer skills, for example: typing, clearing cache, restarting, etc.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Marketing, Communications, or related field strongly preferred. One year of work experience may substitute for one year of the required education up to a maximum of four years substitution. Where substitution is accepted, applicant must demonstrate increased knowledge-base and progressively more challenging work assignments
- Minimum of two years related experience in a similar position, preferably with a high-volume builder
