Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
The BuildPro (BP) Coordinator assists with the oversite and maintenance of all job schedule files and the integration of data between BP and NewStar Enterprise (NS). The BP coordinator conducts training for all new BP users in the region, including purchasing employees for the purpose of onboarding new vendors; also responsible for training new vendors using SupplyPro.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor NS/BP integration process and error reports – for correction through purchasing
- Analyze trends in order to communicate issues to others on the team
- Communicate issues and discrepancies found, including those related to payments to vendors
- Maintenance of User IDs and passwords, templates, assignment of lots and integration files
- Utilize effective communication skills to train all end users; availability to travel to onsite locations
- Act as resource and consultant for BP and SP issues and questions
REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent analytical, creative thinking, leadership, problem-solving and trouble shooting, interpersonal skills, negotiation, organizational, project management and time management skills.
- Manage multiple priorities in a timely and professional manner, having strong attention to detail with limited supervision.

- Work in a paperless environment and maintain detailed tracking information of workflow (in databases or other electronic systems).
- Effectively and professionally communicate (in oral and written form) with internal team members and vendors
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Understanding of homebuilding purchasing and accounts payable process is a plus
- Basic knowledge/Ability to learn the following is highly preferred but not required:
- BuildPro/ SupplyPro
- Newstar (Constellation Systems) – for purchasing
- Any other company-based back office and scheduling software such as JD Edwards, Builder Trend, Sage

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, IT, Education or related field strongly preferred. One year of work experience may substitute for one year of the required education up to a maximum of four years substitution. Where substitution is accepted, applicant must demonstrate increased knowledge-base and progressively more challenging work assignments.
- Minimum of two years related experience in a similar position, preferably with a high-volume builder.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Regular travel to various Kolter homebuilding divisions is required.
- Candidates must be able to travel up to 30%.
- Overnight travel is a requirement of the role
